Make a "Unit Quilt"
("Skills and Relationships" & "Celebrating Diversity")

Note : these instructions are for a card and paper quilt, but you might like to make yours in fabric?

You will need :
A piece of pre-cut card - all need to be the same size and shape.

Materials to decorate it with - crayons / pens, pictures to cut and stick, odds and ends of decorations, glitter, glue etc.

What to do :
You need to make a "quilt square" which is special just to you. You can decorate it any way you like, but as an example, you might like to include something about your hobbies, your pets, what you are like - anything you like! (Make it in pictures and patterns, not words.)

When you have finished your own square :
Look at all the squares your patrol has produced. How are they different? How are they the same? Why do you think this is?
Arrange them into a square or rectangle (you may need to ask for help with this) for your patrol; we will eventually join all the patrol squares together to make a "unit quilt" to hang on the wall!

We will probably need to have some extra "filler" squares to make them all join up properly, so if you finish early, why not make us a spare square!
