Plastic
"canvas" cross-stitch These designs can all be worked on wool on plastic "canvas." For younger girls, it may be easier to stick sellotape round the end of the wool to stiffen it, rather than spend all your time re-threading needles! Older girls can use tapestry or darning needles (which have large eyes.) By adding a loop at the top they can be used as Christmas tree decorations.
