Some More Songs for Rainbows

ACTIONS

BABY DUCK
Isn't it a piece of luck
That I was born a baby duck?
With yellow beak and yellow shoes
That I may go where e'er I choose.

(Quack, Quack, Quack-quack-quack;
Quack, Quack, Quack-quack-quack)

Just waddle like a duck!!

Flap "wings" in time to quacks.

DINGLE-DANGLE SCARECROW
I'm a dingle-dangle scarecrow witha flippy-floppy hat;

I can shake my hands like this:
I can shake my feet like that:

Step side to side with feet and arms out, nodding head from side to side
Shake hands....
Shake feet...

HEADS, SHOULDERS, KNEES & TOES
Heads, shoulders knees and toes, knees and toes,
Heads, shoulders knees and toes, knees and toes,
And eyes and ears and mouth and nose
Heads, shoulders knees and toes, knees and toes.

Point to relevant parts as the song progresses (you will need to bend for the toes!)

You can complicate it by missing out the word for one "part" each time round and just do the action.

I'M A LITTLE TEAPOT
I'm a little tea pot, short and stout.
Here's my handle,
Here's my spout.
When I see the tea cups hear me shout,
Tip me up and pour me out!

Place one hand on hip to show "handle"
and raise other arm for spout (keep this position)

Lean over towards "spout" arm!

MY BONNIE LIES OVER THE OCEAN
My Bonnie lies over the ocean,
My Bonnie lies over the sea,
My Bonnie lies over the ocean,
Oh bring back my Bonnie to me,
Bring back, bring back,
Oh bring back my Bonnie to me, to me,
Bring back, bring back,
Oh bring back my Bonnie to me!

The excitement of this one is that you atrat off standing upright and when you sing a word beginning with "B" you bob down, and stay there until you sing another word beginning with "B" and you stand up again. Bob or stand on each "B" word - they come thick and fast. You can vary it by singing sitting down, and stand/sit on each "B" word!
